International women’s day.
As usual our staff-room discussions drifted from one topic to another, everything under and over the sky-when one of the senior teachers’ burst out into tears shouting..
“….to hell with the haphazard of politicians and social activists. What the hell are these fellows doing here to stop women abuse? How come the law here is never a law? When it comes to the various crimes there are many to make loud drawing room protestations. Unless dreadful words and comments What action did they take after Soumya’s brutal murder? And for Govinda chami,or Mayin kutty..…aaaah…lifelong imprisonment..eh…?that means -bed coffee, breakfast, gardening cooking, lunch, dinner., library and education if needed, they are even paid for the work they do in jail-free food and accommodation in short.Has any of them had the real feel of Santhosh’s broken words?

Friends ,words of protestation those where,of course..but think..why a ladies coach?Will that ,or taking the zenana to the middle or giving it a particular colour solve all the problems?

Seems your soul is burning since days on this issue and has reached its extreme on this special day that celeberates the most wonderful creation of god WOMAN.... The rage is definetely felt but the largest democratic nation in the world does leave a door opened for people like govindachami who live like animals, who never realise the value of life(there are incidents of brutal murders of men too by such people).. the solution definitely lies in the fear of punishment...but the largest democracy leaves the least fear.... Lets try our best to atleast build up a bold and strong( mentaly"a strong look may do a difference" & physically"learning martial arts maynot be ruled out") generation who can stand against such atrocities....

Looking at the larger level political empowerment of women alone would vest them with the power to deal with such cruelties inflicted on women.In the working classes drunken men beating their wives is a regular scene.The 33% reservation is yet to be passed despite the 52% ballot power.
Women, break the shackles, wrest the political power and make laws and ensure enforccement to safeguard.The politico class will not give in gold platter.It must be won by hard struggle by women uniting without political affiliation.This must be the resolve on Women's day

I support all those ideas of punishing them...I myself was telling my people that such people should be castrated...and that too, in front of the public by their own family...then put lots of chilly powder..and let him walk thru fire...This cutting process can be done Inch by Inch every single day...till he plead for death...but make sure, all treatment is given so that he dont die...
But to hell with, then will come all sort of Human Rights and all...
In UAE a 4 year old boy was raped and murdered by a Pervert inside a Mosque...He was a man who was arrested many times for similar cases...but was let free after jail terms...If this sort of punishment was given to him initiallly, he would have never even thought of repeating the crime...and tht could have saved that little boy's life...Anyways, this time, he was Shot dead...which is the most easiest escape he could get...uhmm...
Regarding that Boy who wanted to know about Masturbation...I think, u dealt it wrong...I had similar situation...I dint cut him off...Instead...I was just plain thru in such a way that he felt as if his skin was being ripped off for trying to be oversmart...to top it, I asked opinions on his question to many common friends too...hehe!!! He was like...haaa...and never ever spoke to me even...Just an apology...

I am late to reach here.your post is interesting as well as thought provoking.We people are not taught anywhere how to behave with a woman.If we go outside the state,we can feel it.In most of the states woman is free to more out in night,without any fear.But in our state we cannot even think about it.Last week,one of my Rajasthaani friends visited me in kerala,asked me about the social status of woman.I told him about the freedom our ladies are having,etc.Suddenly he asked me then why no ladies are seen outside in our cities?I was not able to answer that question.The reason you also know.
imprisonment-breakfast,lunch,dinner and pay for work..some times i fell that democrasy is a curse on us..
train journeys the system of ladies compartment itself should be abolished or else they will be targeted for crime..your expression is strong but who will raise the issues?what is the use?these are the same crowd reluctant to pull the chain in soumaya's case..pity us..!!!

This sort of creatures should be given capital punishment, no doubt. We can not demand more than that to this diseased souls in a democratic country. May be this is the limitation in our constitution, and happened due to absence of women in the upper house who is creating regulations for our 1Billion people.
